Biggest Flop Of The Season: Who Deserves The Title?

Just the other day, I was asked who I thought deserves the title — biggest flop of this season. Sure, the entire FOUTTE alliance was immediately the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe even Kaycee, since I had such high expectations for her in the beginning. However, the more I thought about it; as historically bad as the members of FOUTTE have been this season, I still don’t believe that any of them are the “biggest flop” of Big Brother 20. As of right now, that title belongs to production.

At the beginning of the season, we were introduced to a twist where fans could vote for their favorite houseguest to receive an app that could (potentially) improve their chances in the game called the BB App Store. Well, this twist is the reason why I am giving the title “biggest flop” of the season to production.

Why, you ask? Let’s take a look.

Bonus Life (Sam)

Sam never used the Bonus Life power app she was awarded to benefit her own game. Instead, Kaitlyn received the app (by default) because it was going to expire after she was evicted (4th). We all know how that ended.

The Cloud (Tyler)

Tyler has had this power app for six goddamn weeks now and not once has he even come close to even thinking about using it — let alone, actually using it. In production’s defense, Tyler is so good at this game that he didn’t really need a power app to help him along. But that doesn’t change the fact that the app expires at the end of this week and Tyler, likely, won’t have to use it.

Identity Theft (Bayleigh)

Jeff put out Bayleigh’s torch while she had an immunity idol in her back pocket. Wait…wrong show. But you get the point.

So, there you have it. This is why production is my “biggest flop” of Big Brother 20. They had fans waste 20 seconds per week, for the first three weeks, voting for their favorite houseguest to win an app that was essentially irrelevant. That’s one full minute of our lives that we will never get back because of this failed twist.
