It’s a secret to no one, and I mean NO ONE, that Josh has been a very emotional player this season. To be cliche, Josh is easily defined as someone who “wears his heart on his sleeve.” We’ve seen him spend endless hours crying in the diary room. We’ve also seen him be the instigator of most the fights in the house. However, throughout all of the crying, pots and pans banging, and countless fights, Josh is building a very strong case for himself to win Big Brother. That is a sentence I never thought I’d put together, but it’s true.

I did not realize this until Mark’s exit interview with Julie. Mark acknowledged that him and Josh had their differences in the house, but he felt that it was just a part of the game. Mark told Julie, and all of us, how much he liked Josh as a person and that outside of the Big Brother house they will likely remain friends. This is HUGE for Josh’s game. Mark is now the third member of the Jury, alongside Cody and Elena. Unless Cody surprises everyone, which I don’t see happening, he is probably not a vote in Josh’s favor. However, I can only assume that if Josh were to make it to final two, Mark could convince Elena to vote for him.

That’s two out of three jury votes so far in favor of Josh. With the rest of the house seeming to like him as well, even if he goes against Paul in the final two, I still think that he has a very strong chance to win.

In Paul’s goodbye message to Mark, he asked Mark to “put a good word in for him” at the jury house. 

Let’s be honest, that’s not going to happen. Even if it did, neither — Cody or Elena — would be buying it. Also, we’re at the point in the game where Paul’s minions are going to have to be evicted (because there’s no one else left). Sooner or later, they are going to realize that Paul was the mastermind behind their eviction, whether he was the HOH or not.

I’ve seen fans say that Alex is a bigger threat to Paul than Josh. I can see why they would think that, Alex is playing a good game. The biggest difference? While Alex is making enemies with the houseguests as they leave for the jury house, Josh is making amends.

Paul’s best move would be to get Josh out of this game as quickly as possible. At the end of the game, it doesn’t matter who you can physically beat in a competition. Only one thing matters, jury votes. Call it a hunch, but I strongly believe that if Josh makes it to final two, he will win Big Brother.
